Reading to children from a young age helps develop their imagination and understanding of story telling. With this in mind I love to create illustrations for stories that resonate with children, that make them laugh or fill them with wonder.

About me ...

I'm an award winning children's picture book illustrator and author. I live in rural Waikato with my partner, Mark and spoodle, Tansy. Views of the surrounding rolling farmland, our garden and small olive grove often provide me with inspiration for my artwork.

After years of working with design studio's, publishers, advertising agencies and manufacturers, my dream to illustrate picture books became a reality in 2002 when I illustrated A Kiwi Night Before Christmas by Yvonne Morrison (Scholastic NZ, 2003). The rest, as they say is history.
